Travel Choice
Travel Choice is an automated computer program which assists travel consultants in the reservation process. Through a standardized reservation process, Travel Choice provides CWT the flexibility to meet the need of each individual traveler and corporate customer. Travel Choice is able to bring the traveler requirements to the finger tips of each consultant at the point-of-sale. Individual and corporate requirements are built into the system to allow the consultant to focus on the needs of the traveler.

Each traveler profile contains the individual preferences as well as corporate requirements, including travel policy information.

Travel Choice automates the process to:

  • Display preferred air carriers
  • Price itineraries at published and/or negotiated air fares
  • Enter corporate & individual discount numbers for car and hotel bookings
  • Display hotel availability using customer and CWT rates
  • Assign special meals and seat assignments
Profile Management
One of the many benefits of the profile management traveler profiles which sit in the Travel Choice point-of-sale reservation system is the pre-population of each booking with travel policy guidelines and individual traveler preferences. Frequent flyer membership numbers, seat and meal preferences, charge card numbers with expiration dates, etc. are all included.

Profiles can be accessed through our 24 hour emergency service and Carlson Wagonlit Travel. The data maintained in profiles includes:

  • Full name of traveler
  • Business and home address and all contact numbers
  • Credit card details
  • Secretary name and contact
  • Airline club membership numbers
  • Usual class of travel (within travel policy)
  • Seating preferences
  • Special meal requirements
  • Passport number/expiration date
  • Hotel membership
  • Hotel preferences (within policy)
  • Car membership/preferences
All of this information is automatically downloaded into travelers' reservations ensuring client needs and requirements are met.
